MAUI WOW E

 The first day of 2016 I'll be landing in Maui to begin a 6 month adventure with the YWAM SFMI DTS program (Youth With A Mission, Surfers For Missions International, Dicipleship Training School). The mission of the program is to get to know Jesus better and make him known. The first three months will be spent on the island learning in a lecture setting, getting to know the community, and spending time in the water surfing. The last three months we'll be assigned to an outreach location where we'll put to use some of what we've learned, familiarize ourselves with the culture, and serve in a variety of ways (likely including some more surfing). During this 6 months I'll use this blog as a platform to share some stories about what I'm learning, what Gods doing, and hopefully some photos as well.
